The Steve Bass Big Band is a 17-piece big band that performs and records original compositions and arrangements. On occasion strings and french horns are added to the ensemble.
Steve Bass is a pianist, composer, and music educator in the greater Boston area. He has Masters in Jazz Studies from the New England Conservatory and currently teaches piano lessons, music directs youth theatre in Stoneham and Acton, and arranges big band music for the Boston College Jazz Ensemble.
